motrona DS230 – Certified Safety Monitor, SIL3 / PLe

motrona DS230 – Certified Safety Monitor, SIL3 / PLe

Certified safety monitor for drive applications, with multifunctional inputs for HTL, RS422 and sine/cosine encoders plus an integrated signal splitter. Covers safety functions to EN 61800-5-2 such as SLS, SOS, SDI, SS1, SS2 and STO. Shown with the plug-in display and programming unit.

  • SIL3 / PLe; 2 sin/cos, 2 RS422 and 2 HTL inputs up to 500 kHz
  • Redundant relay, 4 redundant HTL outputs, safe 4–20 mA analogue output
  • Set-up via USB software or plug-in BG230 unit; 18–30 VDC; DIN rail
motrona DS250 – Safety Speed Monitor for Incremental Encoders

motrona DS250 – Safety Speed Monitor for Incremental Encoders

Safety speed monitor for ramp, underspeed, overspeed, standstill and direction monitoring. Reaches SIL3 / PLe with two independent, non-certified sensors, so standard encoders can be used for safety tasks.

  • Up to SIL3 / PLe with two standard sensors
  • 2 pulse inputs (HTL / TTL-RS422) with signal splitter; 8 control inputs
  • 4 transistor outputs (500 mA), 2 forced relays + 1 NO relay; USB set-up
motrona DS250 with BG200 Display & Programming Unit

motrona DS250 with BG200 Display & Programming Unit

The DS250 safety speed monitor with the optional BG200 operator unit attached. The BG200 snaps on magnetically, shows two-channel frequencies and scaled values on a bright OLED screen, and lets technicians set parameters on site without a PC.

  • BG200: 1.54" OLED (128 x 64), six touch keys
  • Fits DS230, DS240, DS250 and DS260 safety monitors
  • Magnetic mounting, 8-pin connector, powered by the host unit
motrona DZ26x Series – Speed, Standstill & Direction Monitors

motrona DZ26x Series – Speed, Standstill & Direction Monitors

Universal monitors for overspeed, underspeed, standstill and direction of rotation from incremental encoders and sensors. A backlit LCD and four keys allow direct set-up; variants offer relay, transistor and analogue outputs.

  • Inputs HTL (A, B) or RS422 (A, /A, B, /B), up to 1 MHz
  • 3 relay outputs; DZ260 adds a 14-bit analogue output
  • Backlit LCD and keypad; RS232 PC set-up; 17–30 VDC; DIN rail
motrona DZ210 – Direction & Standstill Monitor

motrona DZ210 – Direction & Standstill Monitor

Simple, compact monitor that detects direction of rotation and standstill from incremental encoders and sensors with HTL, RS422 or TTL outputs. Set-up by DIP switches, so no software is needed.

  • Relay 1: direction; relay 2: direction or standstill
  • 2 fast transistor outputs; response < 1 ms
  • Up to 500 kHz (RS422/TTL); 17–30 VDC; 5.4 V encoder supply
motrona DZ220 – Multifunctional Monitor with Analogue Output

motrona DZ220 – Multifunctional Monitor with Analogue Output

Powerful successor to the DZ260 series for incremental encoders, SSI absolute encoders and start-stop displacement transducers. Measures frequency or position and switches four control outputs, with a 16-bit analogue output for control tasks.

  • HTL / TTL / RS422 inputs up to 1 MHz; SSI master or slave, 10–32 bit
  • 4 control outputs; 16-bit analogue ±10 V or 0/4–20 mA
  • DZ220/RL variant with 4 relays; 18–30 VDC; DIN rail
