Motrona GmbH (formerly MKS) designs and manufactures control, motion and interface modules for industrial automation. Its synchronisation controllers keep master and follower drives in exact angular or ratio synchronism, with print-mark and index evaluation; its interface modules split, convert and switch encoder signals; and its displays, counters and monitors measure speed, position and process values at the machine.
Typical applications include rotary cutters and flying shears, printing and converting lines, winders with tension control, and conveyor synchronisation.
